How monitoring works

  • Automated checks every 30 minutes, day and night, with alerts to our team.
  • People respond during support hours: Mon–Fri 7 AM–8 PM Central.
  • Every issue stays on a list until it’s fixed.
  • Each weekday morning, our team reviews what’s open and what’s fixed.

What we watch for

  • A location’s internet line goes down, or switches to its backup line.
  • A backup line that has failed, or one that is quietly carrying the load.
  • A firewall, switch or access point drops offline.

How we handle alerts

Each alert goes straight to our team.

Example scenario

For example, a pharmacy’s main internet line drops at 6:40 AM and the network switches to its backup line. The register and prescription system stay up, so staff may never notice. Our monitoring alerts our team, and we contact you right away to let you know what’s going on. The internet account is in your name, so your provider works with you directly, and we stay with you until the main line is back and confirmed working. We can send a plain summary of what happened on request, but since we’re working with you the whole time, you’ll likely already know.

What does network monitoring watch for?

Our monitoring flags when a location's internet line goes down or switches to its backup. It flags a backup line that has failed or is quietly carrying the load, and it flags when we lose connection to a firewall, switch or access point. It can also flag an internet line with on-and-off problems. When it does, we let you know and work alongside you with your provider until it's sorted out.

Will you tell me if my network had an outage?

Yes. If your network has an outage, we'll let you know. And we will give you an explanation afterwards of what happened.
